roles and responsibilities

This position is a great opportunity for the right person to be part of a team that is at the forefront of driving a business transformation project. As a PM, you will be responsible for providing project management support to the project team, ensuring project milestones are met, and delivering high-quality outcomes. 

You will work closely with process owners, functional analysts, and other key stakeholders, providing regular status updates, tracking project risks and issues, and ensuring project documentation is up-to-date. This will involve: 

  • Provide project management support to the workstream lead in defining project scope, objectives, and timelines

  • Create and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets

  • Monitor and report on project progress against project plans and schedules Identify, track, and mitigate project risks and issues 

  • Assist in the development of project documentation, including status reports, project plans, and presentations 

  • Ensure project documentation is up-to-date and accurate

  • Work with the project team to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget 

  • Oversee weekly reporting to enable the capture and communication of status levels, escalation of significant risks or issues and requests for leadership support

  • Co-ordinate the change control process to ensure effective identification and quality assurance of Change Requests


how to succeed

  • Strong project management experience required

  • Experienced in implementing large global IT projects strongly preferred

  • Consultancy experience preferable

  • SAP implementation experience preferable 

  • Solid understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work well under pressure, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines 

  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality project outcomes 

  • You possess strong business acumen and a high level of financial management together with experience of providing key management information to support the business

  • You enjoy working in a multi-faceted role and can adapt to evolving pace

  • You are highly organised with the ability to manage multiple workstreams in parallel where there are tight delivery milestones

  • Highly proficient IT skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project

  • Excellent written/oral communication skills for reports and presentations

  • Experience working in a matrix management environment

  • This role offers a very competitive hourly rate. 

  • This contract will run for a 12 month duration and has a strong chance of extension. 

  • Remote position (UK only). 

  • Travel requirements: May require some traveling to UK site occasionally along with some international travel to USA / New York.
