We are seeking experienced Medior and Senior QA Qualification/Validation Engineers to join the Johnson & Johnson QA Engineering department in Geel. In this key role, you will safeguard our processes across manufacturing, labs, IT, and automation to ensure they meet the highest regulatory standards. If you thrive in a cross-functional environment and can translate complex technical details into clear cGMP guidance, this is your chance to directly contribute to the quality and success of life-changing products.

Your primary responsibility is to support the QA Engineering department at J&J Geel by ensuring that all qualification and validation-related regulatory and procedural requirements are fulfilled during the complete system lifecycle (from concept and project phases to operational and retirement).

We are hiring for multiple roles. Based on your profile, you will be matched with one of the following specializations:

  • Manufacturing Systems Qualification

  • Laboratory Systems Qualification

  • Facility and Utility Systems Qualification

  • Computer System Validation (for IT/Automation systems)


what we're looking for

We are looking for professionals who match one of the following experience levels:

  • Medior Profile: 4 - 6 years of relevant experience in QA Qualification/Validation.

  • Senior Profile: 6+ years of relevant experience in QA Qualification/Validation.


roles and responsibilities

  • Experience in chemical and/or pharmaceutical industry with respect to qualification/validation

  • Knowledge of cGMP regulations and guidelines.

  • Capacity to ‘translate’ technical information into information that can be understood at every level of the organization.

  • Being able to correctly estimate the urgency, criticality and impact of decisions related to the function.

  • Ability to multi-task and work on a variety of projects at one time.

  • Ability to work independently and work in cross-functional team environment.

  • Good communication skills.


how to succeed

  • Fluent in English & Dutch (written and spoken)

  • Manufacturing, Lab, Building, Utility, IT, Automation systems used within pharmaceutical or chemical industry.

  • Problem report, change request systems. (f.e. Trackwise, Comet)

  • Document Management systems (f.e. TruVault)

  • Test tools (f.e. Kneat)
