In this position, you will be a key member of the Quality team, supporting API (Sterile & non-sterile) manufacturing and release. You will lead a team of ten QC/IPC Analysts performing QC Microbiology testing, Sterility testing, Environmental Monitoring, In-Process Control testing, Process Equipment Cleaning evaluation
Roles and Responsibilities
Oversee execution of key quality control activities under your direct reports control.
Oversight and Accountability for QC Key Performance Indicators, QC Validation Plan execution, QC Training, Analytical Method Transfer, External Laboratory Qualification, QC documentation review and approval, QC EHS program.
Ensure management of the Quality Control team in line with the J&J Leadership Imperatives.
Ensure team organizational capabilities and personnel competencies. Coach and mentor to ensure professional and personal development of team members.
Drive the execution of the Quality Control team goals & objectives and continuous improvement initiatives.
Support relevant internal and external site audits.
Deputise for the Quality Control Manager as appropriate.
Foster a culture of quality, safety and compliance in line with the J&J Credo.
How to Succeed
Quality background: At least three years in a quality control microbiology environment.
Proactive, self-starting mindset: Able to work independently and effectively under moderate supervision.
Leadership ability: Capable of setting priorities, providing structure, and establishing accountability for direct reports.
Communication proficiency: Effective collaboration with peers, team members and cross-functional stakeholders.
Business acumen: Balance safety, compliance, and product availability.
