Imagine your next role as a Scrum Master. We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master to join our site in Schaffhausen, Switzerland.  



Key responsibilities: 


  • Understand and translate MBR (Master Batch Record) modeling objectives and strategy of the product, and partner with MES Business Unit Lead and Business Owner (Process Owners) to manage the backlog and prioritize work items for the MBR modeling team

  • Helping the team to define MBR (Master Batch Record) modeling items and working packages for MES PAS-X that could be assigned as working items in the backlog

  • Supports the MES Business Unit Leads and Business Owner to define scope items according to MBR modeling, aligning prioritization and planning modeling items in sprint cycles

  • Establishing a standard WBS for MBR modeling, a Scrum framework, processes, tools, and meetings based on Scrum methodology driving MBR modeling activities and ensuring coaching for framework adoption within the modeler team

  • Coordinate and facilitate Product Chartering, story mapping, sprint/release planning meetings, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, and demos.

  • Enable the modeler team to meet sprint goals by helping to remove roadblocks and accelerating the Agile Culture. 

  • Establish and track productivity and efficiency metrics. Provide visibility into progress by maintaining backlog, burndown charts, velocity analysis, etc.

  • Responsible for complete ownership of product MBR modeling from a technical view and expected to work more autonomously by leading and coordinating the modeler team.

  • Synchronizing and optimizing efficiencies of several MBR modeling streams running in parallel with regard to resources, knowledge built, modeling capabilities, and deployment timelines 

  • Ensuring synchronization with other deployment workstreams like change management, training, and MBR verification delivering modelled MBRs and prototypes for end-user experiences and testing purposes

  • Liaise with project scheduler analyzing scheduling issues and MBR Verification Lead providing regular progress updates on MBR delivery





how to succeed:


  • Experience as a Scrum Master in a product environment or manufacturing (MES. digital tools) or supply chain is a plus

  • Experiences with MES PAS-X or other manufacturing process management systems

  • Experience with Pharmaceutical Operations & GxP regulation 

  • Possesses expertise in Good Documentation and Good Testing Practices

  • Bachelor degree in computer science or equivalent experience in IT product development or IT line of industry

  • Proven experience working in an agile environment managing product or program initiatives demonstrating effective coordination of engineering, design/user experience stakeholders

  • Scrum Master Certification or equivalent training

  • Project Management - Program Increment Planning, Sprint Planning, Backlog, and Daily Sprint Management

  • Capacity and velocity analysis

  • Coordination and planning with development & delivery 

  • Ability to manage a multi-function team and prioritize core requirements for MES MBR delivery and MBR verification

  • Working knowledge of Agile tools (e.g. JIRA, Microsoft Project, Share Point) and knowledge of continuous delivery practices

  • Good understanding of test-driven development and software testing

  • Strong communication skill and influence skills, able to gain the respect of the modeler and project team

  • Demonstrated ability to understand business needs and execute a business strategy

  • Good conflict resolution, negotiation, and leadership skills

  • Good oral and written English and German skills
