DePuy Synthes, a market-leading Medical Devices business within Johnson & Johnson, has an outstanding opportunity for a Senior Financial Analyst within the MedTech Principal Operations, Centre of Excellence (MTPO COE). This role is supply-chain focused, with the opportunity to gain extensive exposure across the organization.

Reporting to the Finance Team Lead, this Senior Financial Analyst position operates in a dynamic global environment delivering timely, compliant reporting of WW Joint Reconstruction Inventory.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Support the month end process for Joints Inventory to ensure accurate and timely reporting.

  • Monthly inventory reconciliations.

  • Preparation of month-end P&L and B/S reconciliations and schedules.

  • Accounting for Joints Instruments.

  • Collaborating closely with WW Finance business partners on Joints Inventory related matters.

  • Ensuring accurate, timely, and complete financial forecasts, reports, submissions & analytics for Joints Inventory.

  • Creating value for the global Ortho Plan function by developing strategies with business partners to improve efficiencies and deliver business plan targets, with a particular focus on the Joints business.

  • Maintaining the highest compliance standards and assisting in audit and SOX compliance testing.

  • Driving improvements within area of responsibility and challenging established norms and processes to deliver tangible benefits in scope of control, predictability, efficiency, and effectiveness.

  • Taking on additional tasks and responsibilities as required.


How to Succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

  • Qualified ACCA, ACA or CIMA accountant

  • 3+ years of relevant multinational experience

  • Supply chain finance experience in medical device or pharmaceutical industry an advantage

  • Proven track record in multicultural business partnering

  • Strong analytical and communication skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, be a team player and willing to work in a flexible environment.

  • Results orientated.

  • Accuracy with attention to detail.

  • Strong technical accounting and compliance knowledge.

  • Demonstrated record of driving continuous improvements in execution.

  • Ability to translate complex situations into simple working solutions. 

  • Accuracy with attention to detail.

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

  • Proactive, energetic, and enthusiastic approach. 


Benefits

This role offers a very competitive hourly rate. This contract will run for 12 months.
