Senior Finance Analyst - AGP Governance


Location: Ringaskiddy, Cork Ireland - Hybrid working

Imagine your next project supporting the Orthopaedics business until the separation date, managing high-value inventory tools and playing a key part in the impact of an iconic global healthcare company.

This role is a time limited contractor role supporting Orthopaedics business until the separation date (planned for July 2027) and it will report to a Lead Finance Analyst.

roles and responsibilities.

  • Maintenance of the MD Supply Chain Affiliate Gross Profit (AGP) Tool and related master data for selected Ortho franchises. The AGP Tool is a Tableau front ended technology which consolidated MD inventory and commercial sales from ~ 10 individual Ortho ERPs into one application

  • Governance, calculation and reporting of the Profit in Inventory Reserve for selected Ortho franchises (total MD SC PII for all franchises ~ USD 2.0 Billion reserve)

  • Performing SOX compliance controls for the AGP Tool including key controls around Supply Chain Master Data

  • Partnering with key stakeholder groups (Business Unit Finance, Intercompany Pricing, JJIT, ERP rollout and SigniFi teams) to shape the future end state for the AGP Tool for Ortho

  • Supporting project execution activities related to building a new Affiliate Gross Profit (AGP) Tool for Ortho franchises.

  • Performing technical testing activities related to PII Reserve for selected Ortho franchises, including data and control testing in quality and production environment of the new AGP Tool.

  • Performing process assessment and testing activities related to the design of SOX 404 and management controls around the PII and AGP Tool.


how to succeed.

  • A minimum of a BA/BS degree or relevant qualification is required in Accounting, Finance, or other business discipline.

  • A minimum of 2-3 years of professional working experience in Accounting, Finance and/or Auditing is required.

  • Compliance, SOX 404, internal or external audit background

  • Excellent analytical, technical skills (Excel) and some knowledge in digital analytics skills is preferred (Power BI, Alteryx or Tableau)

  • Strong communicator with the ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Team player
