Imagine your next project contributing to a critical legal entity restructuring within a global healthcare leader. You will be responsible for work across multiple areas of accounting, ensuring compliance with financial transaction recording standards including general ledger, tax transactions, and control/reconciliation of accounts for both internal management and external compliance reporting.


roles and responsibilities 

You will support the legal entity restructuring activities from both a US GAAP and Statutory perspective.

This will involve:

  • Support from an accounting perspective the legal entity restructuring activities within MRC 2716 and MRC 3615 both from a US GAAP and Statutory perspective.

  • Implement SOX control changes, perform control testing and document the evidence.

  • Support with internal and external audit requests, as well as support other teams working on the project (internal or external ie FP&A - EY).

  • Master‑data migration & validation: import chart of accounts, vendors, customers, cost centers and reconcile counts/IDs.

  • Configure and test interfaces. Run BST/UAT for O2C, P2P and R2R flows; log defects, remediate and retest before cutover.

  • Support hypercare: daily reconciliations, issue remediation, runbooks and handover to operations.

  • Perform final separation‑date reconciliations (cash, AR, AP, inventory, FA) and post close journals.

  • Other adhoc requests based on project needs.


how to succeed 

We are looking for a finance professional with a strong background in GL accounting and a methodical approach to data migration.

You will also bring:

  • Proven experience in General Ledger (GL) accounting and financial reporting.

  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and Statutory accounting standards.

  • Experience with SOX control implementation and testing.

  • Proficiency in master-data migration and interface testing (BST/UAT).

  • Ability to manage internal and external audit requests effectively.

  • Previous experience in legal entity restructuring or large-scale finance projects is a plus.

  • Maximum 5% travel requirement.
