Roles and Responsibilities
Provide technical support within Operations group for the management of Orthopaedic Product
Lead oversight of digital and process integration
Support technical transfers/ NPI/ Insourcing as required
Support technical issues relating to a product line or major technical projects within Operations.
Lead escalations of day-to-day technical activities for manufacturing –i.e., trouble shooting, process changes and improvements, new manufacturing technology implementation etc.
Drive long term resolutions of technical issues between Operations and Support Functions
Lead Change Controls, facilitate investigations, CAPAs and support of Audit & Compliance.
Drive Analytical Capability and Analysis for Operations
Lead risk assessments and develops solutions to complex issues that require a high degree of ingenuity, creativity and innovation.
Lead stakeholders to redefine standardised approach to technical problem solving with a business and quality compliance focus.
Challenge status quo and lead by example.
Aid in development of talent capability of Operations group
How to succeed
Level 8 Bachelors of Science/ Engineering/ Maths related discipline
5+ years experience in Engineering/Quality roles of increasing responsibility
Highly driven individual
Strong Business focus with demonstrated change execution
Demonstrated problem solver and ability to deliver on objectives.
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders to implement streamlined manufacturing processes
Requires understanding and application of principles, concepts, practices and standards that govern the manufacturing of implants.

This role offers a very competitive hourly rate. This contract will run for a 12 months and has a strong chance of extension.
