Supply Planner
Location: Blackpool
Duration: 12 months
Hours: 37 hours per week. Hybrid (3 days on-site)

roles and responsibilities
This role will involve capacity planning for medical device manufacturing Value Streams and End to end management of the plan for Value streams.
Duties are:
Managing planning workbook in SAP (APO). Creation/refresh of plan monthly to ensure plan aligned with refreshed customer demand
Monitoring over and under consumption and resetting plan as required. Challenge significant swings with Demand Team as appropriate
Maintaining a weekly capacity plan for manufacturing areas aligned with forecasted demand from customers. Gaining commitment from the Ops team leaders to the plan
Monitoring manufacturing output weekly and ensuring plan agreed is adhered to.
Challenge failures to hit plan and try to mediate solution with the Ops team that does not impact or compromise the customer. Timely escalation of issues where they cannot be addressed directly
Prevention of customer service issues through effective management of plan and inventory. Pre-empting issues using forecast trend and MI
Trending and managing FG inventory aligned with site targets.
Proactively provide ATP, Supply Commit and BO updates. Deployment of inventory based on customer need/allocation priorities
Updating comments daily in WW BO Report. Prepare the vulnerability report and lead the weekly BO call on behalf of the site
Compiling site/PP&L metrics detailing performance to targets (BO, Inventory, Schedule attainment)
Leading effective planning meeting that addresses and challenges gaps to plan attainment, reviews BO and position to SS
Play lead role in the daily Ops meetings to ensure target are being met day to day. Challenge failure to hit plan.
Trending market forecast and intelligence ensuring alignment with capacity and deployment plans
Staff: Responsible for ensuring compliance with all local, national, international and company regulations, policies and procedures for Health, Safety and Environmental compliance. Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level.
For those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable
Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.
Performs other duties assigned as needed.
Quality and Compliance Related Responsibilities
Ensures that all activities are carried out in compliance with all regulations and laws governing business and quality operations.
how to succeed
3-4+ years of relevant experience eg. Supply Chain Planning, Demand planning, ERP systems / analytics etc
Experienced ERP / Planning Systems User, able to execute in an ERP System
Working with spreadsheets/data analysis
Good experience managing senior stakeholders and management.
Desirable:
Supply chain experience in medical device or pharmaceutical industry
Contract manufacturing experience
Working knowledge of financial processes
SAP experience
Minimum of Degree or equivalent in a related discipline

This role offers a very competitive hourly rate. This contract will run for a 12 month duration and has the potential of extension for the right candidate.
This is a hybrid position (3 days on-site, 2 days at home)
