Imagine your next project working within the Pharma Global Planning Transfer Management team where you will be responsible for the supply chain implementation of the transfer projects assigned. During the implementation of the transfer, you will represent all PLAN functions in the E2E Transfer Project team.
roles and responsibilities
As a Supply Chain Product Transfer Coordinator, your responsibilities include developing a transfer implementation plan and providing support for all supply chain activities throughout the transfer process. Collaborating with various teams, such as Production sites’ planning, Local Operating Companies Supply Chain, Quality, Delivery & Transportation, Regulatory Affairs, and Product Artwork, is crucial to ensure a smooth transition from the current state to the future state of the supply flow. Tracking prerequisites, adhering to the Supply Chain Transfer plan, and maintaining transparent communication with key stakeholders and team members are essential aspects of your role. Your primary objective is to guarantee the reliability of the supply during project implementation, mitigating any negative impact caused by organisational changes. Proactively managing transfer risks, planning, and executing scenarios for assigned projects are key components to ensure uninterrupted supply to customers during the transfer implementation phase.
This will involve:
Represents supply chain as active Core Team Member in the Transfer Project Core Team.
Collaborates with the Local Operating Companies, Production sites, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Deliver & the Product Artwork teams to develop and execute a transfer implementation plan
Coordinates the supply chain activities during the implementation phase.
Leads supply meetings with both sending and receiving plant teams.
Agrees on the transfer plan with each site, including a clear definition of the stop (last order sending site) and start (first order receiving site) dates.
Acts as the communication lead towards affiliates and plants and keeps them informed about the project execution.
Escalates issues in case agreed implementation timelines are at risk
Manages stock-build planning if required, based on transfer timelines, taking into account customer requirements, regulatory approval timelines and plant capacity.
Communicates effectively and periodically across the E2E Transfer Teams’ functional areas to keep management and key stakeholders informed about the status of the assigned transfer project(s).
how to succeed
We are looking for a candidate with considerable experience in the supply chain domain, preferably in the pharmaceutical or highly regulated industry, and a background in supply chain planning or other roles within supply chain management.
You will also bring:
At minimum a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Advanced degree is preferred.
Excellent influencing and communication skills, able to work effectively at all
levels in an organisation
Ability to manage multiple initiatives and work in a matrix environment where
priorities change rapidly, and tight deadlines exist
Ability to build strong collaborative relationships without having direct authority, influence multiple stakeholders and establish common goals and objectives
Ability to function autonomously and work proactively with a ‘can-do’ attitude
Ability to see the big picture while keeping high level of attention to the details
Experience working in a regional/global setting, or experience in a large-scale
Business transformation projects are required.
ERP knowledge and practical application is preferred.
In depth understanding of the End to End Supply Chain and interdependencies across functions. (e.g. Plan, Source, Make, Deliver, Finance, Master-data) is fundamental.
Experience with SAP and OMP preferably
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills are required.
Fluency in Dutch is strongly preferred for this position
High proficiency with Microsoft software packages (Excel, PowerPoint, MS
