Supply Chain Development Launch & Project Specialist

Location: Fully remote - we are accepting application form candidates based in Ireland, Belgium and Switzerland ONLY

Are you an experienced Project Specialist with expertise in managing product launches and driving project success? Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is seeking a SCD Launch & Project Specialist to join our world-class team. In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to lead the launch execution for new products into global markets as well as Project execution for launched products.

roles and responsibilities

  • Drive on-time execution of new product launches globally, collaborating with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance, Compliance, Finance, Marketing, and PACoE to drive successful launch execution in alignment with product strategy.

  • Drive on time project execution for launched products impacted by life cycle changes in alignment with the project deliverables.

  • Partner with J&J Deliver to manage distribution and import/export requirements.

  • Focus on key deliverables being system set up, artwork creation, packaging, and distribution as per the Regulatory and Commercial strategy.

  • Communicates effectively across disciplines and companies to keep management and key stakeholders informed of project status, issues, conflicts, and mitigating actions as necessary.

  • Leads development and deployment of standardized processes to improve launch execution. Contributes to development of departmental strategies. Leverages formal project management tools (e.g. FPX) in delivery of business objectives.

  • Lead the creation and execution of risk assessment and launch investment strategy, gaining approval from senior management.


how to succeed

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree is required with a focus in Business, Pharma, Science/Engineering or other Technical Degrees preferred. 

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in supply chain and project management, preferably in pharmaceutical Industry is required.

  • New Pharmaceutical product introduction experience is preferred.

  • Ability to build and lead global complex cross-functional teams is required.

  • Knowledge of global pharmaceutical regulatory/compliance guidelines is required.

  • Ability to communicate effectively to international cross-functional stakeholders and senior management is required.

  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to confidently address and influence the needs of various parties involved.

  • Excellent analytical skills and a process-oriented mindset is required.

  • Demonstrating attention to detail without losing the high-level view is required.

  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively engaging with diverse teams and departments.

  • Familiarity with formal project management tools, such as FPX.

  • A digital acumen with skills to work and build reports in Power BI, QuickBase or similar tools is preferred.

  • This role is located in Beerse (BE), Cork (IRE), Latina (IT), Basel, Schaffhausen, or Zug (CH); and exceptionally may require up to 10% of travel both internationally and domestically.
