The Supply Chain Development Project Manager (SCD-PM) is responsible to implement, according to the SCD specific key deliverables, the end-to-end supply chain design for VCD&O PMO projects for NPIs and established products or SCD specific projects. Projects include transfer of products manufacturing steps from a manufacturing site to another or product improvements at the same site (formulation change, packaging change or others). The projects can be related to the whole product or to its components: API (drug Substance/active ingredient), drug product or packaged finished good. This role will coordinate cross functional J&J IMSC (Innovative Medicine Supply Chain) teams to support completion of SCD key deliverables on request of the VCD&O PMO team and will be part of the PMO related core project team. In addition, the SCD PM and will also own all aspects of SCD performance management metrics.
roles and responsibilities
Lead and design implementation of end-to-end supply chain for assigned projects by completing the below key deliverables:
Assure supply chain flows including all nodes (API, Drug Product, Finished goods) are defined and drafted in a visual format
Assure financial flows related to the supply chain flows are designed and approved by the financial team.
Coordinate the master data set up in the systems according to supply chain and financial flows.
Assure that Business simulation testing to proof that systems work is executed by IT and the team if required.
Assure that artworks development is executed if any secondary packaging change is required.
Lead distribution assessment for any new shipping lane implementation.
Assure that inventory of the product is planned and produced according to the project plan and assure through the planning team support the supply reliability during the project implementation.
Assure that the Launch and project specialist establish connections with each of the country local operation company (LOC) where the product is marketed to plan for the supply arrival in the country and coordinate the local activities (demand put in the system, finished goods codes creation or change, new artworks creation, supply production and arrival at the LOC)
Manage detailed project plan and tracking tool at SKU/code level.
Achieve the above key deliverables by building & leading cross functional teams including Manufacturing, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance and Compliance, Finance, Planning, Packaging, Deliver, Launch and project specialist and other necessary functions to drive successful supply chain implementation according to the SCD key deliverables and processes.
The role will be a member of the VCD&O PMO project core team and will be responsible to assure that the SCD project plan will be in line with the overall project milestones and tha information from the PMO are transferred to the SCD sub teams where applicable.
Build strong partnerships and provide leadership to challenge and influence stakeholder requirements to assure a smooth project implementation.

Required Minimum Education: Scientific/Technical Bachelor’s Degree as a minimum, Master degree preferred
Required Years of Related Experience: 6 years in Manufacturing Supply Chain of which minimum three years of recent experience in pharmaceutical industry
Excellent influencing and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple initiatives and work in a matrix environment where priorities change rapidly, and tight deadlines exist.
Ability to build strong collaborative relationships without having direct authority, influence multiple stakeholders and establish common goals and objectives with ability to lead global cross-functional teams.
Project management skills with the ability to handle complex situations with opposing priorities:
Ability to build project action plans cross-function.
Monitor progresses and assure that the project plan is timely executed by implementing recurrent meetings, continuous connections and by engaging the team members
Ability to readapt the project plan on the basis of changed priorities.
Assess potential risks to the project plan execution and assure mitigation is in place
Ability to function autonomously and work pro-actively.
Ability to see the big picture while keeping high level of attention to the details
Experience working in a regional/global setting, or experience in a large-scale business transformation project is required
In depth understanding of the End to End Supply Chain and interdependencies across functions. (eg Plan, Source, Make, Deliver, Finance, Master-data) is fundamental.
ERP knowledge and practical application is preferred.
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills is required.
