Location: Remote (we are currently looking for talent in the UK, Ireland, Switzerland and Belgium)
Duration: 6 months

We seek a Technical Product Owner to spearhead the Care4Today Smart Tracking initiative, driving our technology strategy and roadmap. Partnering with business, customer and external vendor teams, you will enhance J&J MedTech's market presence, ensuring IT capabilities align with commercial growth objectives.
Reporting into the Sr Director Business Technology MedTech EMEA, you will primary be responsible for day-to-day management of the customer facing digital solution leveraging RFID technology Care4Today Smart Tracking, accountable for product planning, delivery and for execution excellence ensuring compliance a with J&J PM practices and standards across all projects.
roles and responsibilities
Define and track metrics to focus on business value realization throughout the product lifecycle, including end user KPIs, product performance, team health and team maturity
Define product vision, strategy, and OKRs aligned with business needs for Care4Today Smart Tracking.
Drive successful market launches through collaboration and continuous improvement.
Establish and track key performance metrics for business value realization (e.g., quarterly operational review).
Lead agile user requirement gathering, translating them into actionable stories for development teams.
Facilitate release planning with stakeholders as well as sprint planning and demos
Drive selection of solution options, work with the Lead Engineer to assess technical elements of the solution prior to testing with end users
Represent the customer voice, ensuring alignment with their needs throughout the product lifecycle.
Foster partnerships within supply chain teams and drive third-party engagement.
Own and Manage solution documentation and compliance requirements (SDLC, ISO renewal audits, GxP audits, etc.).
Oversee the integration of Care4Today Smart Tracking with the SAP S/4 HANA system in the Transcend program.
Develop user stories to capture requirements and define product functionality.
Collaborate on scalable architecture design to meet business needs.
Lead testing phases to validate integration, ensuring performance and user acceptance.
Manage hyper care activities post-launch for user support and issue resolution.
how to succeed
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or MBA preferred.
PMP, FPX, or equivalent certifications preferred.
Certification in areas of expertise (e.g., APICS, Lean/Six Sigma /Process Excellence, etc.) is helpful.
Proven experience in customer-facing digital solutions, particularly with RFID technology.
Strong background in agile product delivery and familiarity with agile methodologies.
Deep understanding of product development processes, including user experience principles.
Demonstrated ability to translate complex business needs into actionable product visions and roadmaps.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to foster collaboration across cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Foundational knowledge in data engineering, cybersecurity, intelligent automation, and emerging technologies.
Experience in tracking metrics and leading product team ceremonies to drive successful outcomes.
Understanding of EMEA compliance regulations (e.g., GDPR) and the ability to navigate compliance requirements effectively.

Experience with leading multi-company teams and global efforts are preferred.
Knowledge of enterprise architecture and development methodologies preferred
Practice Design Thinking Approaches to solving business and technology solutions
Experience in managing budgets (OpsEx, BusIT, Bus Expenses)
