job summary

• To deliver Value Stream technical support for manufacturing materials, methods and processes, with technical project work in-line with company project portfolio and strategy.

• To prepare technical protocols and reports for materials, methods and process studies.

• Liaise with material suppliers, service contractors and internal maintenance / facilities teams to support the ongoing availability of processes. 

• The activities are aligned to the J&J MedTech, Blackpool, procedures for supporting processes and product ranges. 

roles and responsibilities

• Lead delivery of Value Stream (VS) metrics for product and process technical aspects

• Collaborate across VS team

• Deliver opportunities for Continuous Improvement

• Support lab safety and housekeeping.

• Support and conduct laboratory investigations into failures and raise issues with test results in a timely manner.

• Review of testing data. 

• Write protocols and reports for studies.

• Filing and storage of completed test data.

• To coordinate study creation, sample management, and associated documentation.

• Liaise with material suppliers, service contractors and internal maintenance / facilities teams to support the ongoing availability of processes. 

• Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level.

• Responsible for following all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices as applicable.

• Support commercial enquiries.

• Co-ordinate own week to week workload in line with your project plans and departmental priorities and overall business framework.

• Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures

• Performs other duties assigned as needed

how to succeed

education

• Minimum of A-Level in Scientific or Mathematic discipline

• Bachelor’s Degree in Scientific or Mathematic discipline, desirable

• Other educational qualifications may be considered.

experience

• Previous experience in the Medical Device industry or medical field

• Previous experience in a laboratory environment

• Working with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
