Hours: 40 (Early or Late shift)

The chemical production facility in Geel, Belgium is part of the Janssen Supply Chain organization within Johnson & Johnson and is a manufacturer of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs). 

The batch record reviewer has the responsibility to prepare and review batch records.

You will be a member of the batch record review team, a diverse team preparing and reviewing batches in the different production units. 

Working in partnership with operations and quality across departments is a crucial aspect to this role.

roles and responsibilities

• Review in detail production and cleaning batch documentation. 

• Generate appropriate batch trending for each production and cleaning batch and reviews them for completeness and discrepancies 

• Complete batch documentation with necessary attachments (e.g., eLIMS results) 

• Check complete and correct consumption of all raw materials 

• Check deviations from each batch record

• Performs proper classification for each deviation according to procedure and initiate a non conformances if necessary

• Archive batch records

• Batch record preparation

how to succeed

• Experience in the pharmaceutical sector is required.

• Knowledge and/or experience with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and GDP (Good Distribution Practices) is required.

• Previous experience with batch record reviewing

• You are highly accurate and punctual, with a strong eye for detail in documentation review.

• You are able to work in a structured manner, set priorities, and can effectively manage strict deadlines.

• Being able to work structured and set priorities is required.

• Fluently speaking and reading Dutch is required.
