The Regulatory Affairs Data Analyst will support Johnson & Johnson MedTech companies. This role involves a multi-faceted set of skills including cross-functional collaboration and planning/oversight/execution of projects & activities that directly impact the operational result of the business. The Data Analyst will work closely with Franchises and Regional Regulatory Affairs groups to integrate and leverage disparate data sources to provide beneficial insights. This role is a key contributor to the creation of a data-driven culture for Regulatory Affairs.

Collaborate with the team to assist in the design, development and maintenance of SQL databases to ensure data accuracy and reliability
Assist in the development, maintenance and enhancement of the organization’s data infrastructure and reporting environment
By request or independently identify and implement opportunities to improve or standup data-driven decision making across the organization
Assist in the improvement and documentation of organizational data policies and procedures to align with industry best practices
Performs external data reconciliation with RA databases and reviews data to ensure accuracy and completeness

You will need a bachelor’s/undergraduate degree and experience with Tableau or PowerBI, plus Excel and SQL. You will also bring:
A bachelor’s/undergraduate degree is required
Preferably 3+ years of experience inclusive of post graduate education and/or pharmaceutical or health care industry experience is preferred
Experience with at least one of the following – Tableau or PowerBI, plus Excel is required
Knowledge of SQL is essential plus understanding a programming language such as R or Python is beneficial
Enthusiasm, desire to learn, succeed and be part of a global team
Strong communication skills - comfortable working with different people of all different skill types and backgrounds
Independent planning skills with the ability to work across diverse business landscapes
Capability to show examples of common sense and initiative

Familiarity with managing and utilizing large datasets, understanding of data processing and analysis workflows
