Imagine your next project as Finance Project Administrator. We are recruiting for a Finance Project Administrator, to join our growing team responsible for leading the design and implementation of an agile and simplified reporting structure that enables the business to seamlessly plan and record internal and external financials, supported by best in class reporting and analytical capabilities. This role will generally support the Finance Director and will be based in the UK (Pinewood Campus).

In this role you will assist the Finance Director with the preparation of data visualization and process documentation to support the team’s initiatives as the teams communicate with key stakeholders.

A good level of PowerPoint and Excel skills is required and ideally you will have had exposure to accounting processes and data analytics in a previous or current role. Understanding of our J&J Operating Model from a financial and accounting processes point of view is not crucial.

roles and responsibilities

  • Create and administer the team’s process and documentation library ensuring wider global program requirements and deadlines are met.

  • Support the team with data analysis drawing preliminary conclusions and first recommendations.

  • Assist the Finance Director with presentation preparation to help communicate teams’ strategy and status.

  • Provide ad hoc support with presentations and data analytics to the wider Finance Operations team.


how to succeed

Education:

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is ideal but not required, preferably in Finance or Accounting.


Experience and Skills:

  • Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word etc.) is required.

  • Ability to independently build V-Lookups, Pivot Tables, Macro’s, etc. in MS Excel is required.

  • Must possess the drive to partner with associates at all levels of the organization and have strong communication, presentation, interpersonal and influencing skills.

  • Must be able to work independently and balance multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • The ability to maintain and improve consistent and sound business processes in a dynamic, cross-cultural environment is required.

  • Experience in finance, accounting or related business experience is preferred.

  • Understanding of standard methodologies in Accounting and Financial Systems, including SAP is preferred.
