Imagine your next role as Manufacturing Supervisor. We are looking for a quality-driven engineer with proven experience as Manufacturing Supervisor. 



roles and responsibilities


As a Manufacturing Supervisor, you are responsible for directing your Team according to the desired working method, J&J Credo, Safety requirements, GMP regulations, and ISO and quality standards where the realization of the production planning is the objective.

You will make sure that the team functions properly, this includes all conversations with the employees intended by J&J for talent development, diversity, and any correction interviews with the employees.

In addition, the Manufacturing Supervisor is available as a point of contact for the department. If necessary, you also consult with the support departments to get the desired product to the customer as quickly as possible. The  Manufacturing Supervisor has insight into the processes in the department and is able to implement the weekly planning optimally.


The  Manufacturing supervisor will also cooperate with the shift schedule (16/7) with the exception of public holidays.

More specifically:

  • One position is for working in 24/7 shifts,

  • One position is for working in 16/7 shifts

The ideal candidate will be:

• Responsible for motivating & leading the team;

• Responsible for correct working methods and manufacturing of products according to regulations;

• Realization of production planning and quality objectives (KPI);

• Stimulates and makes an active contribution to improvement initiatives;

• Developing employees.

• EHS

• Lead production meetings



Qualifications

• Completed HBO education

• At least 4 years of relevant work experience in a production environment

• Leadership skills

• Experience with Lean or improvement projects is a plus

• Cleanroom and GMP experience is a plus

• First aid, experience with working safely is a plus

• Computer skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, JDE, and MES)

• Good knowledge of the Dutch and English language in words and writing.

The Department:

Breast prostheses are produced in the Production Department. In different teams, which are managed by a (Shift) supervisor, work is done on a high-quality product in different shifts of 8 hours a day. The initial process is automated, but production ends up as a labor-intensive and manual process
