The culture of caring is at the heart of our corporate philosophy, which is anchored in the Credo. The Discovery, Product Development &; Supply (DPDS) department is part of the pharmaceutical development organization.The goal of the DPDS is to become an industry-leading clinical supply chain that reliably delivers our patients with the best speed and flexibility with the highest end-to-end productivity. Within DPDS, the Fill Finish Pilot Plant (F2P2) at the Schaffhausen site is responsible for:

  • Supply of Fill Finish Biologics products required for clinical trials. These products are filled under aseptic GMP process conditions in our internal pilot plant.

  • Support launch activities of commercial products

  • Provide facilities, equipment and process expertise to ensure that clinical and commercial processes are successfully transferred, scaled up and out.



The Production Support  will be responsible to support daily business activities as well as lead and support continuous improvement projects. They demonstrate strong communication, interpersonal, time management and prioritization skills to collect and align requirements with collaborators across the organization. This is a great opportunity for a graduate with 1 year experience (production / manufacturing) to join a global leader in a dynamic fast-moving environment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Interface with different departments across the site to ensure manufacturing readiness

  • Lead and support continuous improvement projects in fill finish, optical inspection and device assembly

  • Support operational tasks in production e.g. Batch Record Review, adaption/creation of Master Batch Records (MBR)/Equipment related specifications (ESP) in PAS-X Manufacturing and Execution System (MES).

  • Support and oversee supply and; delivery of consumables for other J&J sites

  • Documentation management (batch records, protocols, reports, SOPs) according to predefined responsibilities (author or reviewer)

  • Compliance with the GMP, EHS and SOX requirements and guidelines, which are connected to the respective function.


how to succeed:

  • Minimum 1-2 years work experience in pharmaceutical, chemical, food production or equivalent.

  • Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, supply chain or equivalent required

  • Professional experience with knowledge of aseptic production/GMP environment is an advantage

  • Good computer skills (MS-Office, SAP, MES)

  • Good communication skills for direct interactions with engineering, manufacturing, and other technical functions
