roles and responsibilities
The Senior Project Manager – Electrical Project Delivery is responsible for leading the planning, execution, and successful completion of electrical infrastructure projects. They coordinate technical teams, manage project scope, schedule, and budget, and ensure that all electrical systems meet safety, reliability, and compliance standards. The role involves technical oversight, risk management, and stakeholder communication to deliver projects from initial concept through operational handover.
Lead the planning, design, and execution of electrical infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with safety, regulatory, and Johnson & Johnson standards.
Translate technical requirements into project scope, schedules, and budgets.
Collaborate closely with electrical engineers, contractors, and facilities teams to ensure technical accuracy and quality.
Oversee procurement, vendor management, and contract execution related to electrical systems
Conduct risk assessments, implement mitigation strategies, and ensure proactive issue resolution.
Review and validate electrical designs, specifications, and calculations, ensuring alignment with system requirements.
Conduct site inspections, commissioning, and testing of electrical installations.
Ensure compliance with electrical safety protocols and Johnson & Johnson’s ESSP (Electrical Standards and Safety Protocols).
Drive innovation in project execution, including renewable energy integration and energy efficiency initiatives.
Manage project reporting, documentation, and communication with stakeholders.
how to succeed
The ideal candidate has a robust background in managing electrical projects within industrial, manufacturing, or healthcare environments. They possess extensive knowledge of electrical system design, power distribution, critical power systems, and and compliance with Electrical standards and European Norms. Proven leadership in technical project delivery, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and managing complex electrical infrastructure projects is essential.
Fluency in English and German
Master's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent through experience.
Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint required
Lead the planning, design, and execution of electrical infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with safety, regulatory, and Johnson & Johnson standards.

This role offers a very competitive hourly rate. This contract will run for a 12 month period. It’s an on-site position.
