Pay rate range: Up to £20 per hour
Imagine your next project working within the shopper marketing team where they are tasked with driving J&J’s business through effective engagement and conversion of shoppers at the point of purchase (POP). Our key retailers are High Street retailers like Boots and Superdrug, Grocery Retailers like Tesco and Sainsburys and Pharmacy retailers like Lloyds and independent pharmacies. This is through the flawless amplification and execution of Brand Marketing plans as well as development of retailer / channel specific co-marketing initiatives.
roles and responsibilities
The Shopper Assistant is key to delivering success in the marketplace by supporting the Shopper Team in ensuring that all shopper activation and media meets both our retailer’s needs and engages our shoppers, in addition to delivering our projects & commitments on time, in full and on budget.
This will involve:
Support the eCommerce and Pharmacy teams to tailor our shopper marketing campaigns to our online and pharmacy retailers. This will involve liaising with the customer team to ensure that the activations are planned, booked and executed in a timely and efficient manner to drive J&J brands across these key customers.
Support the team as necessary in the timely development and approval of shopper style guides & toolkits
Managing style guide development with agency
Co-ordinating feedback and approvals through the business
Managing timeframes for approval to ensure style guides are approved for use in time for customer production deadlines
Ensure all regulation approval processes are followed
Assist team in briefing evaluations to agencies to ensure timely and accurate campaign evaluations are completed
Assist in managing artwork & POS projects as required with external agencies
Meet all retailer and internal team deadlines to ensure timely and efficient shopper activation
how to succeed
As an experienced shopper marketing assistant you will have experience of working with agencies / studios to develop artwork, as well as working with external agencies and stakeholder engagement and bringing commerciality, innovation, creativity and Project Management experience would be a benefit.
You will also bring:
Marketing graduate or have 1 to 2 years experience working within a retail environment ideally.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to project manage multiple projects often to tight timescales and prioritise
Some knowledge of the retail environment.
Executes with excellence.
High attention to detail and highly organised
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Ability to get to grips with new systems and processes quickly
