POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for supporting the Johnson and Johnson SV Global Supply planning team on critical customer service issues. Working on escalations between external / Internal MFG, Deliver (Transportation/Distribution) and customer service in support of our commercial partners and end customer needs.

Develops key network of POCs within the Surgical Vision Supply chain teams, working cross functionally and communicating on critical updates to leadership team via the Reliability process.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepare, execute, and manage the daily updates to leadership on critical deliveries, consolidated from the supply chain stakeholders covering Surgical vision reliability escalations. 

Support in development of updated projections based on supply chain data to ensure leadership has the latest inventory availability data to ensure they have time to react/mitigate any disruptions. 

Manage and proactively communicate supply status and critical supply chain metrics. Perform ad-hoc analytical analysis, recognize issues, develop plan for resolution, and implement and / or influence the support of key partners to aid implementation. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with presentation of information

Work with plants, sourcing partners and internal cross-functional organizations to improve product cycle time and increase supply flexibility and reliability. Assess and manage partner capacity requirements and capabilities. 

Communication with WW partners with respect to Supply Capabilities and projected output

Engage with plan excellence team on Dash-board development on key reporting for your area 

Support Weekly Huddle status reports for Reliability section. 

Additional Grow opportunities to support in improvement projects on visibility with-in the SV supply chain or prewarning of new events/risk to SC leadership.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelors Degree qualified or equivalent in a relevant discipline

First class organizational skills 

Experience working in a Supply Chain environment 

Accuracy with attention to detail 

Ability to translate complex situations into simple working solutions 

Proactive approach 

Innovative 

Proficient user of MS Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint



Desirable: 

CPIM/CPM. 

NAPM / APICS Certification 

3-5 Years of Operations experience in either Logistics, Customer service, MFG or Planning. 

Contract Manufacturing experience 

Global viewpoint 

Working knowledge of financial processes 

Business acumen 

Experience with SAP modules (APO/SNP/ECC)
